| Namiki’s origin is precision processing technologies like cutting, grinding and polishing of industrial jewels such as diamond, sapphire, ruby etc. By using these technologies, we have been supplying various precision parts as follows: industrial jewel bearings that can stand strong friction, sapphire windows and sapphire tubes that can use under high temperature environment and in strong acid/alkali solutions, glittering super- hard metal watch cases. We have also established a micro drilling technique with high aspect ratio by using in-house diamond drills. We have recently introduced a cutting-edge technology of a femtosecond laser. By combining the femtosecond laser processing and Namiki’s original technologies, we are developing novel fabrication technique in nano meter scale. |
